Who are The Goddesses?
What is the MGZ Goddess Collection?
Morning Glory Zell, 1948-2014, was a Goddess Historian and High Priestess of the Church of All Worlds and the Isis Society for Inspirational Studies. A highly creative woman, her life’s work was devoted to researching world heritages of goddess worship, teaching wisdom and lore of varieties of women’s spirituality, and sharing her collection of goddess figurines with all people seeking reconnection with the divine feminine.
The MGZ Goddess Collection comprises over 300 replicas of goddess figurines from the early Paleolithic era to contemporary art. It includes both ancient and traditional forms of devotional and artistic interpretations of female and feminine divinities. Over her lifetime, Morning Glory developed a comprehensive understanding of the archeological source information, spiritual traditions, archetypal significances, and other wisdom traditions of each one of her goddesses. She shared these stories with friends, lovers, apprentices, and the public through her personal teachings, lectures and workshops. She worked on refining and describing the collection through the last days of her life. Unfortunately, she passed through the veil before committing all of her vast knowledge to writing.
