MGZ Goddess Collection at the Isis Oasis Gallery
In the late 1970s, Morning Glory Zell became friends with Lady Loreon Vigné, foundress of the Isis Oasis Sanctuary and Temple of Isis. Morning Glory was among the first to be ordained at Isis Oasis. The two priestesses had many common interests and enjoyed deep mutual respect. When Morning Glory faced deteriorating health, she made arrangements with Lady Loreon to house her collection of goddess figurines. Unfortunately, Lady Loreon crossed over not long after Morning Glory and before the collection could be brought to the Oasis at that time.
After some sacred wanderings, the collection was offered by Morning Glory’s partner and mate Oberon Zell to presiding priestess deTraci Regula for exhibit at the Isis Oasis Sanctuary. This location offers guests a relaxing, supportive environment to explore the collection in the way Morning Glory wished for all who seek the blessings of the Goddesses.
Morning Glory loved to share her love of the Goddess with people, and encouraged visitors to hold the figurines, to dream with them, and to create personal relationships with them. Her intention for her Goddess Collection was that it should always remain accessible to the public to see, feel, and pray with these devotional deity images. At Isis Oasis, we strive to manifest Morning Glory’s abiding vision.
