Lady Loreon Vigne’s Birthday Celebration!

We here at the Temple of Isis are celebrating our temple founders Life & Times with our annual birthday celebration with dinner & dessert for those of you who can join us at the Temple in person.

For those you can’t be here physically don’t worry! @ 7:30PM we are hosting a Facebook live event from here at the Temple as we sing Lady Loreon her fabulous birthday song and share stories from her time with us.

For those who didn’t know Lady Loreon – She was a world renowned enamel artist from the California Arts & Crafts movement with her pieces being displayed at the Smithsonian Archives in Berkley, CA. As a priestess of the goddess Isis, she created and curated the largest and oldest Interfaith Goddess Temple in North American. She was one of the 1st female presenters at the parliament of world religions on the Goddess faith. Being an artist and a priestess was core to who she was and she hobnobbed with other artists like Gerry Garcia of the Greatful Dead, Andy Warhol, Anais Nin, Ruth Wiess, Salvador Dali, Jack Kerourac, just to name as few. She was a prouder defender of LGBTQAI Rights be performing Queer marriages before they were legal in Her Church and standing up the state when they threatened to terminate the church for doing so as a celebration of love!
